Movement and dance have always been a satisfying part of my life. Teaching Nia has been the perfect context for me to deepen awareness of myself and to share my gifts with people of all ages over the past 19 years. Nia trainings bring the richness of Nia’s body of work into a beautiful container for exploring our sacred potential as wholesome, artistic athletes, living in our bodies and our lives authentically and well.
“I love to teach Nia and train people through the White Belt intensive so that we can all grow deeper roots and greater pleasure in the dance of our lives!”
January 5th through June 29, 2017

The White Belt is the foundation for learning and teaching Nia. Everything begins with Principle #1 – the Joy of Movement. The principles of this belt focus on the physical realm of the body and learning how to sustain and increase sensation in the body for pleasure and self-healing.

The White Belt training offers a practical body-centered education and is the first step towards becoming a Nia teacher. All levels welcome!
